Ambassador Nikolina Kuneva visited the biggest in Iran tech park “Pardis”. The Park is a host to more than 400 different companies and start-ups in the fields of IT, bio and nanotechnologies.

On 30 September 2021 – the International Translators’ Day, Ambassador Nikolina Kuneva hosted a gathering at the Bulgarian embassy for Iranian fiction writers, translators and publishers to present the translations of pieces of contemporary Bulgarian literature by the renowned Iranian translator Farid Ghadami, as well as his contribution for promoting the Bulgarian culture in Iran.

The Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Islamic Republic of Iran Nikolina Kuneva accepted the prizes on behalf of three Bulgarian participants: Vyara Plamenova Pencheva from the city of Gabrovo, who took the prestigious 2nd place, and also two certificates of appreciation for Miroslav Lazarov from the city of Pleven and Petya Dimitrova from the city of Ruse, awarded to the painters of the best twelve paintings.

On 13 June 2020 a short story collection with the title “After the Communism”, consisting of works of contemporary Bulgarian writers, was published in Persian language.

As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.

On December 5, 2019, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Tehran participated in the preparation and opening of the 6th Festival of Nations, organized by the students of “Danesh” Private Primary Boys’ School.

The International Sculpture Symposium in Tehran was held from 2nd to 25th November with the participation of representatives from 11 countries – Bulgaria, Argentina, Belarus, Bolivia, India, Iran, China, Peru, Slovenia, Taiwan, and France.

On 2 May the embassy organized a reception on the occasion of 6 May – Day of the bravery and the Bulgarian Army, and 24 May – Day of the Slavic script and culture.
