The European Film Week in Iran, organized by the EU National Institutes for Culture in Iran, took place from 7 to 16 November 2020.

Bulgaria participated in it with two screenings (11 and 16 November) of the movie “Letters from Antarctica” by the director Stanislav Donchev. Due to the restrictions placed to battle with COVID-19, the film week was held online on the movie screening platform hashure.com.

On 11 November the director of the Bulgarian movie Stanislav Donchev participated in a live on the social platform Instagram to talk about the contemporary Bulgarian cinema and about his movie.

The two screenings of the Bulgarian movie “Letters from Antarctica” were seen by more than 1000 people.
