Hosting of an event at the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York dedicated to Bulgarian entrepreneurship in the Northeastern United States

On May 8, the Consulate General of Bulgaria in New York hosted the first event in a new series focused on Bulgarian entrepreneurship. Special guest Ivan Mihaylov, Chief Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, spoke about the country's recent economic progress and the role of the Bulgarian diaspora in driving innovation, investment, and strategic positioning in key sectors like energy and defense.
The event featured a panel discussion with Silvia Taseva of Manhattan Rhythmics and Elisaveta Yordanova of the Gorana Dance Ensemble, who shared their experiences in building financially sustainable organizations rooted in Bulgarian culture and sports.
The gathering also introduced the new Bulgarian Trade Representative in New York, Emilia Keresteliev, and included remarks from representatives of the NYC Bulgarian Professionals Network and The Recursive, a regional innovation media platform.
The evening concluded with informal networking supported by Trimona Yogurt and was widely praised by participants.
