On April 5, 2024, the children from the theater school "The Temple of Melpomena" - Cyprus, with director Monica Meleki and assistant director Tsvetana Papastavrou, delighted the Bulgarian community in New York with a wonderful performance of the play "The Tale of the оther Shepherd" by Stefan Tzanev.

After the performance, the children had a master class in acting led by the actresses Monica Meleki and Gina Di Donato, as well as a reception organized by the Bulgarian school and choir "Gergana".

The children are visiting the USA to participate in the "Children of Bulgaria" festival, which is organized by Boyko Antonov and "Little Bulgarian School" in Chicago.

The guests were welcomed by the Consul General Angel Angelov, who told them about the cultural initiatives of our community in New York and about the work of the Consulate General.
