On July 9th, 2018, American Consul General in Constantinople (Istanbul) Eugene Schuyler was presented (Posthumously) with the Golden Laurel Bough of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On June 18th, 2018, the exhibition “The Power of Civil Society: The Fate of the Jews in Bulgaria” was opened in the European Delegation on the occasion of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and the 75th anniversary of the historic rescue of Bulgarian Jews from the Holocaust.

On June 6th, 2018, Ambassador Tihomir Stoytchev took part in a discussion at the International Student House in Washington together with the Ambassador of Estonia Lauri Lepik and the Ambassador of Austria Wolfgang Waldner (representing the EU Troika).
