On December 6th, 2019, an exhibition of photographic portraits of prominent women – representatives of the public and cultural life of countries with diplomatic missions in Cuba, opened at Vitrina de Valonia Cultural Center of the Havana Historian´s Office.

The event is organized by the Women Ambassadors Association in Havana in conjunction with the Cuban Women Federation and will remain open for the public till the end of the year. The initiative takes place in the context of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender Violence World Campaign.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Havana is participating with a portrait of our great poet, writer, activist and first woman Vice-president of Bulgaria Blaga Dimitrova. The brief text accompanying the picture contains basic biographical data and her poem Alone, which was acclaimed by the participants.

The event was attended by representatives of the Cuban institutions, the diplomatic corps, artists and citizens of the Cuban capital.
