On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, on March 3rd 2022 at the Monument of the fallen Finnish warriors from the Finnish Battalion was held a solemn ceremony with the participation of the Commandant of Helsinki, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.

In the presence of Finnish Guard units and under the sounds of military brass music, in tribute to those perished for the Liberation of Bulgaria the diplomatic staff of the Embassy laid a wreath with the Bulgarian tricolor. Wreath and flowers were laid at the monument also by the Commandant of Helsinki and representatives of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.
