UN Women Praises Bulgaria’s Consistent Support for Women’s Empowerment

UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of UN Women, Sima Sami Bahous, expressed appreciation for Bulgaria’s consistent support for gender equality and the empowerment of women, including its active role on the UN Women Executive Board, as well as its overall support for the Organization.
During the meeting, Ambassador Gergana Karadjova and Executive Director Bahous also discussed the outcomes of the 70th session of the Commission on the Status of Women, the UN80 process, and the future development of UN Women within the United Nations system.
