News - USA, New York, Permanent Representation of the Republic of Bulgaria to the UN

Ambassador Karadjova confirmed the commitment of Bulgaria to the UN Charter and reaspect for international law during her meeting with Ms. Rosemary DiCarlo, United Nations Under Secretary-General on Political and Peacebuilding Affairs. The two interlocutors discussed the positions of Member States and UN's in relation to the Russia-Ukraine war and the conflicts in the Middle East and Iran. They also agreed on the importance of the security and stability of the Western Balkans countries and the prospects of their Europe integration as part of the regional stability and prosperity.
