Ambassador Georgi Panayotov delivered opening remarks during an event on "Women, Innovation and Investment", organized with the assistance of the Mission of Bulgaria.

Ambassador Panayotov mentioned that Bulgaria ranks among EU's leading countries in terms of women and girls in science and by the share of women engineers and women in the ICT sector. It was highlighted that women's empowerment and gender equality are indispensable for the implementation of the Agenda 2030.
