On November 17^th, 2017 the Minister of Justice and the Minister of Interior of the Republic of Bulgaria had a meeting at the Embassy with the Bulgarian community in Washington, DC. 

The two Bulgarian Ministers participated in the meeting EU – US on Justice and Home Affairs where they represented the Priorities of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2018. 

The Ministers had also meetings with the Attorney General Jeff Sessions and the Secretary of Homeland Security Elaine Duke, as well as with high level officials from the Department of State, FBI, DEA and other law enforcement institutions.
