GDBOP Delegation Visits CID in Abu Dhabi
Within the framework of the 1st Gulf - European Meeting of Directors of Criminal Investigations, the Director General of DG Combating Organized Crime Chief Commissioner Yavor Serafimov and the Ambassador of Bulgaria to UAE Ivan Jordanov visited on 6th February 2024 Abu Dhabi Police and met the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Director Colonel Rashid Khalaf Al Dhaheri.

Bulgarian Ambassador meets the UAE Air Force and Air Defence Commander
Ambassador Ivan Jordanov met on 17th December 2024 the UAE Air Force and Air Defence Commander HE Major General Staff Pilot Ibrahim Nasser Al – Alawi and presented him with the dagger of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria Rumen Radev for his contribution to the development of the relations between the armed forces of both countries.
Ambassador Jordanov and Major General Staff Pilot Ibrahim Nasser Al – Alawi discussed a number of issues of common interest.
The meeting was attended by senior officers and officials of the Ministry of Defence of the UAE.

Main information — satellite-based tolling system in Bulgaria
As from 1 March 2020, road vehicles with a total technically permissible maximum weight exceeding 3,5 tonnes circulating on paid road sections in Bulgaria will have to pay for their use distance-based road charges – toll. The toll replaces the electronic vignette for heavy vehicles and buses.
