The annual Charity Bazaar of the United Nations Women Guild in Geneva was held at the Palais des Nations on 14 November 2022. As in previous years, the purpose of the event was to raise funds in support of micro-projects aimed at improving the situation of disadvantaged children and women around the world.

The Permanent Mission of the Republic of Bulgaria to the UN Office and other international organizations in Geneva participated in the Charity Bazaar with two stands (for food and souvenirs), as well as helped to organize and ensure the functioning of an information stand on children's rights. The Bulgarian stands enjoyed great interest from UN officials and representatives of the diplomatic missions in Geneva, from Bulgarians and visitors from all over the world.

The children from the Bulgarian School in Geneva “Dr. Stamen Grigorov” were honoured to be the only group participating in the opening ceremony of the Bazaar in the presence of all the officials from international Geneva. Bulgaria also opened the accompanying cultural program of the Annual Charity Bazaar with accordionist Ivaylo Dimitrov and dance group “Pendari”.
