On April 6 this year The tenth edition of the Forum for the Promotion of Tourism in Poland was held in the Orientarium in Lodz.

In the Main Discussion Panel "How do national tourism organizations present themselves in Poland?" Participants: Prof. Modeva, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Mr. Andrzej Gut-Mostowy, Secretary of State for Tourism in the Ministry of Sport and Tourism of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Savvas Perdios, Deputy Minister of Tourism of Cyprus, representatives of the largest tourist organizations in the Czech Republic and Slovakia, etc. In the exposition of Prof. Modeva was paid attention to the activities that Bulgaria undertakes on the Polish market, for the presentation of our country as a safe and interesting destination. Poland is a priority market for Bulgarian tourism, which was reflected in the opening of a representative office within the Bulgarian Embassy in Warsaw and the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of tourism.

All representatives of the participating countries in the forum noted the role of Poland in helping refugees from Ukraine.

After the discussion panel, Prof. Modeva held a working meeting with the Secretary of State, Mr. Gut-Mostowy. The possibility of organizing a business forum with the participation of representatives of the tourism business of the two countries in the near future in Warsaw was discussed.

Issues related to bilateral co-operation were discussed, after which she spoke with leading Polish tour operators and representatives of the largest associations in the field of tourism.
