On June 19 2020 а meeting of Ambassador Emil Yalnazov with the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jacek Czaputowicz was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland on the occasion of the end of the term of office of the Ambassador in Warsaw.

On behalf of the Polish government, the Minister praised the contribution of Ambassador Emil Yalnazov over the past 4 years to the development of bilateral cooperation and productive high-level political dialogue. The activities of the Ambassador during the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU in 2018 and his role in the celebration of the 100th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Poland and Bulgaria were especially highlighted. In connection with the latter, Ambassador Yalnazov presented the Minister with a personal copy of the jubilee collection published by the University of Warsaw and the Polish Academy of Sciences, including materials from the Polish-Bulgarian scientific-practical conference in December 2018. Minister Czaputowicz expressed confidence that the partnership and the dialogue between the governments and foreign ministries will continue actively, highlighting several priority areas: defense and the defense industry in the NATO context; The "Berlin Process" and the European perspective of the countries of the Western Balkans, regional cooperation in the CEE region and especially the "Three Seas" initiative, aimed at strategic projects in transport, energy and digital infrastructure; cooperation in the field of culture, education, tourism and human contacts.
