At the invitation of the Polish side, on September 25-26, 2019, the first meeting of responsible representatives of the governments of the 12 participating States in the Three Seas Initiative was held in Warsaw. The purpose of the forum was to set up a process of operational interaction at government level with a view to the practical implementation of the identified priority projects in the field of transport, energy and digital infrastructure linking the countries of the Central and Eastern European region. Delegates from the US and Germany, as well as EBRD and EIB representatives, participated in the forum.

Bulgaria was represented by the Deputy Minister of Economy, Mrs. Lilia Ivanova, and our delegation also included experts from MI and MTITC and diplomats from our embassy in Warsaw.
