The Hague hosted the first Career forum in the Netherlands for Bulgarian students and young professionals

On October 5, 2019 the first edition in the Netherlands of the Career Forum for Bulgarian students and young professionals wishing to pursue professional realization in Bulgaria was held in The Hague. The event was organized by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy of the Republic of Bulgaria in close cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in The Hague, the Bulgarian Agency for Employment and the Association "Bulgarian Career Forum".

During the forum, the young people received information about the tendencies of the labor market in Bulgaria and learned important aspects of the labor and social legislation in our country, presented by the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Policy Zornitsa Ruseva. Rumen Alexandrov, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Kingdom of the Netherlands also welcomed the Bulgarian students and young professionals participating in the event. Short statements were also presented by Svetlana Angelova, Vice-Chairman of the Labor, Social and Demographic Policy Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria and Radosvet Radev, Chairman of Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce.

In his speech, Ambassador Alexandrov noted the steadily increasing number of Bulgarian students in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, which according to official Dutch statistics are more than 3200.

In addition, during the Career Forum the Bulgarian students had the opportunity to hold specific talks and receive guidance for professional realization in our country from over 20 leading Bulgarian and international companies working in different sectors of the economy and participating with their booths at the event.
