In the framework of the long-standing cooperation between the Dutch town of Dordrecht and Varna, a week-long visit to the Netherlands is being conducted by teachers from the High School "Little Prince" in Varna, organized by the Dordrecht-Varna and STOEP foundations. The program includes meetings with representatives of the Dutch local authorities, in particular with the Mayor of Dordrecht as well as visits to a number of Dutch schools in several cities to exchange experience on the organization of the learning process in Dutch schools and the implementation of good educational methods and practices, with regard to children with special educational needs. Teachers also visited the Bulgarian embassy in The Hague, where they discussed with the Bulgarian ambassador to the Netherlands, Rumen Alexandrov the activities of the Embassy, the results of the visit, and the possibilities for further cooperation with Dutch schools.
