An exhibition of works by Bulgarian artists opened in Lebanon

The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Lebanon has organized a series of exhibitions of works by Bulgarian artists in Beirut and Tyre.

The first event took place on September 16, 2019, hosted by the Hazmieh Municipality, the municipality in which the embassy is located.

The exposition was sponsored by the Hebros Art Gallery, Plovdiv, the Association of the Graduates of Bulgarian Universities in Lebanon /ABGL/, the State Cultural Institute of the Bulgarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the airline Bulgaria Air. The event was held on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Bulgaria (September 22) and in the auspices of the European Capital of Culture for 2019 (Plovdiv).

The exhibition included works by 13 Bulgarian artists - Atanas Hranov, Rumen Nechev, Hristo Bozukov, Angel Pachamanov, Nenko Chanev, Vihra Grigorova, Asparuh Serbov, Valery Tsenov, Nikolay Nyagolov, Geraki Geraxiev, Georgi Kolarov, Georgi Petrov.

A second exhibition of the works of the same artists is expected to be held at the restored Mamluk House in Tyre on September 20, 2019 and a third one at the Radisson Hotel in Beirut.
