Bulgarian Visas
11 August 2021 Consular NewsCitizens of Georgia holding biometric passports are exempt from the requirement to have a short-stay visa (up to 90 days within a 180-day period) in the Republic of Bulgaria.
Citizens of Georgia who plan a long-term stay in the Republic of Bulgaria, depending on the purpose of the trip, must have:
- Regular passport or a replacement travel document;
- Sufficient funds to provide for their maintenance according to the duration and conditions of their stay in the Republic of Bulgaria, as well as for return to the country of their permanent residence or for passing through the Republic of Bulgaria;
- Medical insurance and other insurance, when required;
- Other documents proving the purpose of the trip and the conditions of the planned stay.
