Ceremony on the occasion of the National Day of Bulgaria - March 3rd

On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, on March 3rd 2026, at the Monument of the fallen Finnish warriors from the Finnish Battalion, was held a solemn ceremony with the participation of the Commanders of the Guard's Jaeger Regiment, the Guard Battalion and the Helsinki Garrison, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.
In the presence of Finnish Guard units and under the sounds of military brass music, in tribute to those who perished for the Liberation of Bulgaria, a representative of the Embassy of Bulgaria in Helsinki laid a wreath with the Bulgarian tricolor. A wreath and flowers were laid by the Finnish Guard Units and representatives of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.
