On March 3rd 2021 in front of the Monument of the Battalion of the guards of Finland in the Guard Cemetery in Helsinki, a solemn ceremony was held on the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Bulgaria, with the participation of the Commandant of Helsinki, military and members of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society. In tribute to those perished for the Liberation of Bulgaria, the diplomatic staff of the Embassy laid a wreath with the Bulgarian tricolor. Wreath and flowers were laid at the monument also by the Commandant of Helsinki and representatives of the Finnish-Bulgarian Friendship Society.
