CHANGES IN OPERATION OF CONSULAR SECTION AT BULGARIAN EMBASSY IN HELSINKI

Following the announcement by the World Health Organization of a COVID-19 pandemic and the Recommendations of the National Operational Headquarters to prevent the spread of corona virus and the state of emergency declared on 16^th March by the Finnish Government, on the basis of § 1a of the Supplementary Provisions of the Regulation on Administrative Services the following changes in the operation of the Consular Section at the Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki will be enacted from 18^th March 2020, Tuesday:

1. From 18^th March 2020 (Wednesday) working hours for customers of the Consular Section shall be as follows: every working day from Monday to Friday from 10 am to 11 am;
2. Only urgent cases would be dealt with like for example issue of temporary Bulgarian passports;
3. All visits will be received after prior appointment only. Appointments can be arranged on contact telephone lines of Bulgarian Embassy in Helsinki, during working hours (every working day from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.): 00358 9 458 40 55 and 00358 9 458 40 35;
4. Before the beginning, after the end and at least once during the working hours with citizens of the Consular Section, the floor and all surfaces in the premises of the Consular Section should be disinfected;
5. Only one customer (together with the people who accompany him/her) will be admitted into the embassy area (the yard and the buildings) in order to avoid contamination;
6. Customers will be admitted to the Consular Section's reception room only on the one-by-one basis (together with the people who accompany them);
7. Customers in front of the gate of the Embassy are requested to stand at least one meter away from each other;
8. Payment for customer services will exclusively with bank cards or with bank transfer.
