Visit to Lappeenranta

On June 26, 2019, Ambassador Martin Ivanov visited the town of Lappeenranta and held a meeting with the mayor of the city, Kimmo Jarva, and with the city's strategic director Marcus Lankinen. The possibilities for cooperation between Lappeenranta and Bulgaria towns were discussed, as well as the eventual opening of an Honorary Consulate of the Republic of Bulgaria in Southeastern Finland.
