On February 19, 2023, the students from Bulgarian Sunday School "St. St. Cyril and Methodius" – Beijing and their parents, together with the Embassy’s staff, marked the “150th Аnniversary of the death of Vasil Levski”. The event was honored with a cultural program prepared by students and their teachers.

The program included an exhibition of paintings, made by the students, the screening of a short movie about the life of Vasil Levski, the recitation of poems and the performance of songs about his heroism. The event ended with presentation of flowers in front of the portrait of the Apostle of Freedom.

The guests were welcomed with a short speech by Mr. Ivaylo Iordanov, Chargé d'Affaires a.i. of the Embassy
