Bulgaria successfully concluded, together with Iraq, its role as co-facilitator of the intergovernmental negotiations on the resolution concerning the modalities for the Intergovernmental Review of the implementation of the Buenos Aires outcome document of the Second High-level United Nations Conference on South-South Cooperation (BAPA+40), following the adoption of the resolution by the General Assembly.
Ambassador Gergana Karadjova participated in a gathering hosted by the President of the General Assembly of the United Nations in honour of the co-chairs of the intergovernmental processes during the 80th session of the General Assembly, held under the motto “Better Together”.
Bulgaria expresses its gratitude to all Member States for their constructive engagement and commitment throughout the negotiations and highly values the excellent cooperation with Iraq in successfully steering this process.
