Concert on the occasion of the End of Bulgaria’s Presidency of the Council of the EU

The Embassy of Bulgaria in London marked the end of Bulgaria’s EU Presidency with a classical music concert, performed by talented students and alumni of the Whitgift School, some of whom come from Bulgaria. The concert was opened by Ambassador Konstantin Dimitrov and featured works by a number of European composers including the Bulgarians Petko Staynov, Pancho Vladigerov and Georgi Zlatev-Cherkin. The successful completion of Bulgaria’s first EU Presidency was honored by a number of heads of missions, representatives of the UK government, British friends of Bulgaria and distinguished members of the Bulgarian community.
