Stanislav Dimitrov, Consul General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Dubai and the Northern Emirates.

Mr. Stanislav Dimitrov is a career diplomat and works for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs since 2008. He possesses extremely rich experience and expertise in the field of consular relations and crisis management, economic diplomacy, bilateral and multilateral diplomacy.

He held various expert and management positions in the Directorates "Consular Relations", "Foreign Economic Relations" and "Situation Center" of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Abroad, he had postings in the Consulate General of the Republic of Bulgaria in Istanbul, Turkey, in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Jakarta, Indonesia, in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bratislava, Slovakia, as well as in the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Zagreb, Croatia, successively performing the functions of Consul, Head of Consular Section, Deputy Head of Mission and Chargé d'affaires of Mission.

Mr. Dimitrov is a graduate of the First English Language High School in Sofia. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in "International Economic Relations" and a master's degree in "Economic Management" at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia. He has completed a number of professional and language post-graduate qualifications - at the University of Cambridge and the University of Westminster, in Great Britain, at the State Institute of Russian Language "A. S. Pushkin", in Moscow and at the Diplomatic Institute at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in Sofia.

Fluent in English and Russian, speaks Spanish.

Married, with two children.
