On the occasion of Europe Day, a rally in support of Ukraine was held in the central Stockholm square of Norrmalmstorg. Ambassadors from the European Union Member States took part in the event. Bulgaria was represented by ambassador Ivan Pavlov.

The Swedish female choir “Perunika”, conducted by Maestro Michael Deltchev, represented Bulgaria at the multilingual Christmas concert “Christmas Carols from the European Union” performing the traditional Bulgarian folk song “Hubava Milka” (Beautiful Milka).

On October 10, 2021, the screening of the Bulgarian documentary film “The Medea Element”, directed by Nayo Titzin, took place at “Zita Folkets Bio” Cinema in Stockholm.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Sweden took part in the traditional marking of the European Day of Languages – 26th September.

The opening ceremony of the new school year at the Bulgarian Sunday School in Stockholm took place on Saturday at the cultural center in Sundbyberg, Stockholm, where school classes are held.

The challenges of digitalisation in healthcare, highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic, open up exciting new opportunities for bilateral cooperation between technological and IT companies from Bulgaria and Sweden.

The Bulgarian Embassy in Sweden took part in the traditional marking of the Day of European Languages, organized by the Representation of the European Commission in Stockholm on September 28, 2020. This year the event was held online due to the ongoing restrictions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.
