The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah sent a Letter of Appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria

The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of the Republic of Namibia, the Honorable Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah sent a Letter of Appreciation to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bulgaria, HE Mr Svetlan Stoev for the donation of 20 000 Euro made by the Bulgarian Government to Namibia in assistance towards its fight against the dire epidemic situation caused by COVID-19 in the country.

I her letter HE Ms Nandi-Ndaitwah, points out that the last three months have been especially dire for Namibia, which had the highest number of COVID-19 deaths per population in Africa. “The pandemic has once again emphasized the importance of building bridges amongst nations and the impact that Multilateralism has on the world”, writes the Minister of International Relations and Cooperation of Namibia in her Letter of Appreciation to Minister Stoev. She emphasizes that despite the challenges and obstacles across the world Namibia can continue to count on her friends for assistance in times of crises. “It is my wish that Namibia and Bulgaria continue building on the bonds of friendship and that we will further enhance the bilateral relations that exist between our two countries”, concludes HE Ms Nandi-Ndaitwah.
