The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Nigeria informs that new Information System (VIS) for obtaining the Bulgarian visas in Abuja will start operation on 01 April 2013.

 The new visa procedure is related only to the Bulgarian visas and as from 1 th of April 2013 it will require the personal appearance and interviews with all visa applicants which includes processing the biometric data and scanning of the fingerprints.

The visa candidates can apply at the Consular section of the Bulgarian Embassy every working day between 09 00 – 11.00 a.m.

The VIS is a modern and efficient visa application system introduced by the majority of the Embassies of the European countries in the North Africa, Middle East, Gulf Region and West African countries.
