He joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2002. He has held various expert positions in the Directorate for Southeastern Europe, the Western Balkans and Neighboring Countries departments. His significant diplomatic and consular experience was gained during his posts in the embassies of the Republic of Bulgaria in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of North Macedonia.
He holds a master's degree from the Faculty of Slavic Philology of the Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski".
He is fluent in English, Croatian and Serbian.
