11 April 2013 News

The joint building of a region of stability, security and prosperity in South East Europe, in which European values and laws are implemented, is an immutable foreign policy priority for Bulgaria. This was said by Deputy Foreign Minister Ivan Naydenov at an informal meeting of ministers of foreign affairs of the countries participating in the South East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP), held in Skopje on April 10.

Bulgaria attaches great importance to deepening economic and cultural cooperation in the framework of SEECP, Deputy Minister Naydenov said in his speech. He focused on the need for building up transport and energy infrastructure in the region. Deputy Minister Naydenov said that an important factor in increasing stability and partnership was institutional strengthening of the parliamentary dimension of SEECP, and he issued a reminder of the initiative by the Bulgarian Parliament in the context of the debate in this regard.
