The grant aims providing for a sustainable environment and conditions in the Gibran Museum and in the Gibran Public Library in Bsharri for the books, painting and all other artefacts related to the life and the artwork of the world famous Lebanese author.

The project will build up on the fruitful collaboration from previous years between the Bulgarian Embassy and the Gibran National Committee and will further engage with local students thus creating positive social dynamics and helping acquiring deep and comprehensive knowledge about a crucial part of modern Lebanese cultural heritage and Lebanese identity.

The Bulgarian Embassy was represented by Ambassador Iassen Tomov and by the embassy’s Head of Finance and Administration Section, Mrs. Tzvetanka Yordanova, and the Gibran National Committee by its President Mr. Fady Rahme and its official representative, Mr. Johny Andari, and the Gibran Museum by its Director, Mr. Joseph Geagea, who will perform the duties of Project Coordinator together with his main curator, Mrs. Sophiya Geagea.
