On 17 February 2024, in the premises of the Bulgarian Embassy in Beirut, the students of the Bulgarian Sunday Scholl “Ivan Vazov” and their teacher, Ms Elena Dyulgerova, performed an “Hour for the Apostle!”. The children presented self-crafted projects, including tridimensional ones, dedicated to the deed and life of Vasil Levski and together with parents and members of the mission honoured the memory of the Bulgarian national hero and recalled his merits for the Liberation of our Fatherland, remembered the covenants of Deacon Ignatius, eternal and immutable in their relevance and foresight for our country.

“Hour for the Apostle!” is a joint initiative of the Bulgarian Embassy to Beirut and the Bulgarian Sunday School “Ivan Vazov”. The initiative aims to become part of a series of events dedicated to the preservation and maintenance of the memory about the Bulgarian history and the accomplishments of our ancestors, thanks to whose heroism and selfless sacrifice Bulgaria exists today.
