On October 7^th, 2023, H.E. Mr. Iassen Tomov, Ambassador of the Republic of Bulgaria to the Lebanese Republic and representatives of the Diplomatic Mission of the Republic of Bulgaria in Beirut visited the Museum of the distinguished writer and artist of Lebanese origin Gibran Khalil Gibran in the town of Bsharri.

The purpose of the visit was to get acquainted with the newly elected President of the Gibran National Committee, Mr. Fadi Rahme, and to monitor the implementation of the project "Khalil Gibran’s Personal Library Preservation and Revival”, financed under the Bulgarian Development Aid. At a meeting held with President of the Committee, the Executive Director of the Museum, Mr. Joseph Geagea, together with the previous chairman, Mr. Joseph Fenianos, the counterparts noted the progress achieved and the implementation of the planned activities.
