On June 8, 2022, Ambassador Boyan Belev visited the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Lebanon, where he met with George Callas – Minister of Youth and Sports of Lebanon. Dr. Mirna Sabra - adviser to the Minister, and Ivaylo Hristov – counselor, dead of the political section at the Embassy of Bulgaria, were also present. The objective of the meeting was to discuss the preparation of a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation between the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Lebanese Republic. The two parties expressed satisfaction with the work on the document so far as well as their hope that it will be finalized and signed in the near future.
