Ambassador Boyan Belev signed a Grant Agreement with the Gibran National Committee for the implementation of the project entitled: “Khalil Gibran’s Legacy for Cultural Sustainability” on December 16 2021 at the Gibran Kahlil Gibran Museum in Becharre, Lebanon.
The project is worth BGN 30 000 and aims to put Gibran’s library materials in digital format in order to preserve the legacy of the writer, philosopher and artist Khalil Gibran.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the city of Becharre Mr. Freddi Keyroz, the president of the Gibran National Committee Joseph Fenianos and committee members, as well as diplomats from the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Beirut (Mr. Vihren Nikolov, Mr. Ivaylo Hristov and Ms. Alexandrina Guigova).
