At the initiative of the Association of Bulgarian Graduates in Lebanon /ABGL/ and the mayor's office of Choueifat Municipality a visit of a delegation from the Embassy of Bulgaria to cultural, educational and other landmarks of the region was organized on September 28.

The event was held under the auspices of the mayor of Choueifat. The delegation visited the Princess Shakib Arslan Library, Abu Semaan Nature Park, the Arab Music Museum and other landmarks.

Choueifat is one of the largest areas of Beirut with a population of over 400,000 people, mostly Christians and Druze. There are over 120 business entities in the municipality, mainly in the field of food processing and the textile industry.
