On 4^th May 2024 was held the second Bulgaria-Cuba Friendship Golf Tournament, organized by the Embassy and the Havana Golf Club within the framework of the ongoing Month of Europe. Twenty-seven players attended the tournament - Cuban citizens, diplomats, directors of  international companies and schools, friends of Bulgaria and Cuba.

During the award ceremony, Ambassador Todor Kanchevski's assistant was the Cuban student Amelia, a participant in the initiative of the Bulgarian diplomatic mission "Diplomat for a month", who told the attendees about St. George's Day (Gergiovden) - the Bravery Day and the day of the Bulgarian Army, to which was dedicated this second edition of the tournament.
