1984 – Master in International Relations, International Relations and International Law Department, Kiev State University
The same year joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as intern-attache.
1984 – 1986 served in the Bulgarian Army.
1986 – 1991 - intern-attache, attache and third secretary, Consular Department, MFA.
1991 – 1995 – third secretary, second secretary, charge d’affairs (1992-1993), Embassy in Kuwait, The State of Kuwait.
1995 – 1998 – second secretary in HR and Consular Departments, MFA.
1996 – internship in European Commission, GD XV.
