PCR requirements and entry regulations for the Republic of Bulgaria valid until 30 April

Due to the recently found new strains of the SARS-CoV-2 virus around the globe and in line with the recommendations of the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control as well as with the continuous efforts of the Bulgarian government to curb the spread of the virus in the country, the minister of health of the Republic of Bulgaria has issued a new order defining the entry regime and the categories of citizens allowed to travel to and to enter Bulgaria.

The ministerial order РД-01-105/16.02.2021 has a validity until 30.04.2021. According to its provisions a PCR test taken up to 72 hours prior to reaching Bulgaria is mandatory for all citizens currently allowed to enter the country.
