The Embassy held an event with Bulgarian citizens living in Yerevan to celebrate 24 May

On May 23, 2021, the day before the great holiday May 24 - Day of the holy brothers Cyril and Methodius, of the Bulgarian alphabet, education and culture and of Slavic literature, the Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in Armenia organized and held an event with residents and the Bulgarian citizens living in Yerevan. All members of the Bulgarian community in Armenia, their families, Armenian students studying in Bulgaria and Armenian graduates of Bulgarian universities were invited to the event. The format of the event was an open air event. During the event the Bulgarian citizens and the members of the embassy managed to meet and congratulate each other on this bright Bulgarian holiday. Due to the official business trip of Amb. Kalin Anastasov, the guests were greeted by Mr.  Ventsislav Hristov, Chargé d'affaires/counsellor at the Embassy.  Mr. Hristov expressed the desire and readiness of the diplomatic mission in Yerevan to be a center and home for each and every Bulgarian in Armenia, to be the place where Bulgarian citizens can seek assistance and share their successes and achievements. It was highlighted that the embassy is open for contacts with all Bulgarians and friends of Bulgaria and that similar celebrations of Bulgarian holidays and dates will take place in the future. Sincere congratulations were sent to those present, and hope was expressed that every Bulgarian far from home will recognize the diplomatic mission as a natural emotional part of Bulgaria.
