On 18th of February Ambassador Maria Pavlova had a meeting with the Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Republic of Armenia Zaruhi Batoyan. Ambassador Pavlova highlighted with satisfaction the dynamics of bilateral cooperation in the social field, which she considered to be fruitful and effective. Minister Batoyan expressed her appreciation in regards with one project financed by Bulgaria and implemented by UNICEF Armenia, in the field of deinstitutionalization of disadvantaged children and the use of Bulgarian experience in Armenia. She welcomed the initiatives of Bulgaria and expressed readiness to consider further proposals for continuation of the cooperation.

During the meeting, were discussed issues of mutual interest related to the updating of the legal framework between the two countries in the social sphere.
