Meeting of Ambassador Pavlova with Ararat Mirzoyan, President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia

On February 18, Ambassador Maria Pavlova Tzotzorkova-Kaymaktchieva had a meeting with the President of the RA National Assembly Ararat Mirzoyan.
The two interlocutors emphasized the traditionally good relations and long-lasting historical and cultural ties between the two nations, which create preconditions for their further development and deepening nowadays. During the conversation the two sides expressed their satisfaction by the presence of the well-integrated Armenian community in Bulgaria, which plays an important role in Bulgarian public and cultural life.
Ambassador Pavlova highlighted the importance of parliamentary ties and the role of Friendship Groups for the comprehensive development of bilateral relations. She highlighted the support of Bulgaria for the reform policy of the new government of Prime Minister N. Pashinyan, aimed at strengthening democracy, development and prosperity of Armenia.
Mr. Mirzoyan thanked the Parliament of Bulgaria for ratification of the EU – Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement.
