Commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One

The Embassy of the Republic of Bulgaria in London commemorated the 100th anniversary of the end of World War One with the exhibition "The World for the Bulgarian Warrior", created by former BBC journalist Dimitar Dimitrov.

The event was opened by the Bulgarian defence attaché in London, Fl. Adm. Kosta Andreev, who stressed in his address on the fact that onetime opposing are now allies and bow their heads together in commemorating the fallen.

The exhibition’s author presented the third volume of the series "The World for the Bulgarian Warrior", dedicated to the period of World War One, which shows the Bulgarian participating in the War, as seen by foreign military correspondents.

The event was attended by representatives of the military-diplomatic corps, diplomats, representatives of British institutions, Bulgarians living in the United Kingdom and British friends of Bulgaria.
