On 19.04.2024, Ambassador Maria Tzotzorkova met with Professor Mosepele, Vice Chancellor of Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources, on his initiative. The meeting took place as a follow-up to the meeting of Ambassador Tzotzorkova with the leadership of the Botswana University of Agriculture and Natural Resources (BUAN) in Gaborone on 03 April 2024.

The topic of the conversation was a potential cooperation of the Botswana University with Bulgarian universities in the field of the agricultural sciences, forestry, forestry management and veterinary medicine.

Ambassador Tzotzorkova thanked for the shown interest and expressed the willingness of the Embassy to assist in establishment of contacts between the university leadership of BUAN and the Bulgarian universities, which have interest in academic cooperation. The Ambassador pointed out the good traditions of the agricultural science, agri-business and education in Bulgaria and highlighted the competitive advantages of our educational curricula, which creates a good foundation for the realization of successful international exchange.
