Bulgaria took part at the opening of the Francophonie Days – 2018 on 10 March 2018. The Bulgarian stand attracted the visitors with traditional food, like banitsa and pita. The South African sculptor Hermanus McDonald, whose wife is Bulgarian, presented some of his bronze works.

Bulgaria also participated in the musical programme of the event. The talented girl Tsvety Kalvacheva sang the children`s song “Seller of flowers”, and the accordionist Zariana Griesselplayed French chansons.
