Participation of Bulgaria in the 8th International Children's Drawing Competition in the Republic of Azerbaijan

On April 9, 2026, representatives of the Bulgarian Embassy in Baku participated in the official award ceremony for the winners of the 8th International Children's Drawing Competition in the Republic of Azerbaijan. The event was organized by the Youth Development Center at Baku School No. 3 with the support of the State Agency for Preschool and Primary Education and the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
A total of 2 792 drawings from 348 schools participated in the 8th International Children's Drawing Competition. The countries that took part in the competition were Azerbaijan, Bulgaria, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Qatar, Latvia, Jordan, Romania, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan.
A total of 760 drawings were received from Bulgaria, sent by various schools and kindergartens from all over the country. Three of our participants were awarded medals and certificates for 1st place in the competition, 11 of the participants received certificates for 2nd place, and 18 children received certificates for 3rd place.
