A culinary festival "Taste of Europe" was held for the first time in Baku on June 25, 2023. The event was organized by the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan and the culinary group "Azeri Home Chef". The Embassy of Bulgaria in Baku took part with its stand and held a master class on the preparation of the traditional Bulgarian banitsa, the dish with which our country is represented in the "Taste of Europe" book published by the EU delegation in Azerbaijan.
The guests of the festival had the opportunity to taste traditional European flavors and enjoy popular music from Europe, performed by local musicians and singers. In addition to the demonstration performed by a professional Bulgarian chef, the Bulgarian stand offered a lot of information about our country’s culture, customs and history.
